In the PNW, most days between October and June are overcast and grey, it's rough. However yesterday we received a much needed dose of SUN! My little family got outside and our hands in the dirt. We have a lot of land, but not much garden. What few blooms we have include a lovely large camellia; our particular neighborhood is home to a sizable camellia population. Around here they're not just bushes, they're old growth trees - including the one just outside my office window.
Long story short, that burst of sun and the fact today is the first official day of spring inspired me to do a little playing around and create this camellia paper crown. It's free to download and easy to assemble.
- Print out crown (1 sheet if 11"x17", 2 if 8.5"x 11")
- Cut around flowers
- Secure together with preferred method of adhesive
